Tree Dialogues Volumes 1 & 2
On this CD project, my role was simply to do some restoration and mastering to the product that Alex Primm and David Dunstedter had produced. The majority of the project consists of oral history recorded from analog and digital sources, mixed with ambient noise sources, mostly from nature. Because of the age and the quality of some of these original recordings, a lot of clarity was lost in the final product, and so selective EQ and compression was necessary to bring out the stories people told without destroying the overall tone quality.
